Caught it in time

If a devotion I’m writing is not working out at a point in time, I send it to a folder dedicated to parking unusable devotions. There’s one in particular I’ve been fond of taking out and recycling whenever I go into the pharmacy that inspired the devotion.

So, today, I took the piece out for another look at it. I happened to be reading just the right Bible verse at the time that fitted the theme of the devotion so I got to work. An incident that happened last week was also included. After about six months marinating, it’s come together at last, when I thought that was the end of it some moons ago. Satisfaction.
