Been reading the introduction to Wuthering Heights although I was heard saying that I had gone off novels and preferred screenplays. Well, a little inspiration can stir one back into the novel.
That inspiration can come at the start, in the introduction. Introductions to classic novels I find provide interesting information and interpretation. This can make one read the actual story, but also with some self-motivation.
Although the classic novel may or may not be one’s sort of book. However, one may take more time (if necessary) on the classic novel to get the most out of the book as it’s written in unfamiliar language.
I’ve already found a problem with the story (implied in the introduction) but for me personally I can know that and still read along. T
That’s if I’m enthusiastic to read on. Time will tell.
