Certain film directors have done “director’s cuts” of their films, which is a longer version of the film originally released, with scenes the director has shot before but adds to the new version. Writers can do similar things with their pieces. I have published a review one way. In another forum I can say it differently, perhaps substantially differently, even better than before. This may be more than tweaking. It can be reinventing. But the view or opinion stays the same in invisible essence.
